Family Adopts an Old Service Dog and Quickly Learns That Old Habits Die Hard
Arwen, a Kelpie-Husky cross, arrived in her new home with a résumé that was already unusual. She had been adopted from a prison, where she had been trained as an autism support dog, and it did not take long for her new family to realize that she came with a few very specific habits.
Taking in an older dog is never completely simple, but Arwen's background made the adjustment even more interesting. Between her prison training, her energy, and the odd things she had learned along the way, her new owners quickly found themselves adapting to her instead of the other way around.
And once her quirks started showing up, the family had plenty to say about it.
Seems like quite the cutie!

Sounds like she's been trained to jump over things and eat whenever she can. Sounds like a prison dog to me!

The family has been forced to find new ways for Arwen to utilize her habits and skills.

Resourceful doggo here.

This story is extra extravagant!

Possibly the most athletic dog I've ever heard of.

This pooch just won't stop. And this was all within the first week?

This also reminds us of Echo the disabled dog, guided by a toddler despite limited sight and hearing.

I knew dog judo would pay off.

The little rascal will never miss an opportunity to outsmart the humans in her life.

Arwen's owner goes on to explain just why she is so smart and cunning.

It doesn't even stop there, with more updates on Arwen's adventures coming through.

The internet rejoiced at this incredible dog, posting their thoughts.
