Illustrator "Punderfully" Recreates Pop Culture Icons As Cats With Puns
If you love cats, pop culture, and a good pun, Katie Ruby’s latest project is basically catnip. The illustrator has turned some of the most recognizable icons in film, music, art, and literature into cartoon cats, and the results are as playful as they sound.
Her series, The Punderful World of Cats, started as a creative escape after work and grew into a steady stream of clever illustrations shared online. Now she keeps adding new pieces whenever she can, along with free coloring pages and an official coloring book in her shop.
From The Great Catsby to Hairy Potter, these pun-filled portraits are hard to scroll past. Read on.
