Woman Uses An Interesting Method To Stop Her Dog From Squeezing Through The Fence
Lu-Seal had already beaten the odds once. After Julia Morley brought the tiny Chihuahua home from a Pittsburgh animal shelter, the pup shed a dangerous amount of weight and turned into a lively, healthy dog.
That new energy came with a new problem, though, when a freshly installed fence left just enough space for Lu-Seal to try squeezing through it. Morley had to find a quick fix before her determined dog made the yard escape routine.
What followed was equal parts practical and ridiculous, and the solution ended up being almost as memorable as the problem itself.
Lu-Seal adores their neighbor Eddie because he always gives her the best treats. So, she would run to him whenever she saw him outside, fence or no fence.

Lu-Seal seemed determined to squeeze through the fence every time she was outside, so her mom had to act fast. She asked for some advice on Lu-Seal’s Instagram, and one follower came up with a hilarious solution: putting a “safety spoon” on the dog’s back.
The idea worked, and the results are hilarious. So, it’s a win-win situation.
Reminds us of the couple who let their dog roam free during the move, then regretted it fast.

“I attached it to her harness with Velcro cable ties, and it worked like a charm,” Morley says. “We only used it as a temporary solution. The landscaper came back a week later and installed puppy guards on the fence.”
“I think Lu-Seal was so committed to getting through that fence that she didn't even notice the spoon on her back,” she added. “It didn't seem to bother her at all, and it certainly didn't change her conviction that her attempts were eventually going to work.”

Thanks to the new puppy guards, Lu-Seal doesn't try to squeeze herself through the fence anymore. But she still tries to get those tasty treats…
"Instead, whenever she sees Eddie during her vigilant cookie watch, she runs to the gate and waits for me to take her over to see him," Morley says. "Lu-Seal is just unfailingly optimistic. She has a permanent smile on her face, and nothing seems to keep her down."
Wait until you see how Stella jumped the fence “to keep her in,” outsmarting the builder.
