Dog Has A Brilliant Way Of Disguising Herself By Camouflaging Herself Into Things
Zuri has a talent for disappearing in plain sight, and her fluffy black coat is the reason why. Small enough to slip into tight spots and dark enough to blend into almost anything, she can be surprisingly hard to spot around the house.
Her family has learned that even a quick glance can miss her completely, especially when she is tucked under furniture or curled into something black. One of her most convincing hiding spots turned an ordinary basket into a perfect camouflage moment.
Now that photo has people doing a double take.

When Zuri was a puppy and very small, the easiest way for her family to carry her around was to put her in a laundry basket. It was comfy and warm.
But one day, while Zuri was cuddled up in the basket, her mom realized that if you didn’t know the dog was there, you could quickly think it was a bath mat or something similar.

“Although it’s always been a task to tell her head area apart from her backside (she really does look like a rug or a black cloud when lying down), when I saw her in the basket, it became even more difficult for me to tell where her eyes were.”
Jain took a photo of the dog, and when she posted it online, people were very confused.
It also reminds me of the doorbell camera moment when frantic barks helped stop a house fire.

All snuggled up, the dog did look like a black bath mat. It was almost impossible to spot the difference. Zuri is a bit bigger now, but she still manages to hide pretty successfully, keeping her family on their toes so they do not step on her accidentally.
