Dog Expresses Her Joy at Visiting the Beach Through Her Unusually High Jumps
Tofu does not just like the beach, she practically launches into it. In a series of photos, the dog shows off unusually high jumps that make her excitement impossible to miss.
Her mom, Ashleigh MacPherson, says Tofu will zoom around and bark like crazy when they visit, and the shoreline seems to bring out her happiest energy. It is the kind of reaction that turns an ordinary beach day into a full-on performance.
And once Tofu gets going, she does not seem interested in slowing down anytime soon.
Tofu Jumping with Joy
As soon as she sets foot on the sand of the beach, she starts jumping with joy—not just in words, but in literal jumps. Her high leaps, again and again, become quite an attraction and spectacle for everyone around.

“People we passed on our walk—their faces would light up with joy seeing her happiness,” MacPherson said.
Although she receives applause from spectators for her jumping and expression of joy at being at the beach, it doesn't quite sit well with her fellow dogs.
It’s the same survival story energy as Stella, the pup found alive after 3 months in a sea cave.
Dogs Looking at Tofu Joyously Jumping
“My other dog tried to join in, but her jumping skills weren't as impressive,” MacPherson shared. “The other dogs we were walking with seemed unsure of what to make of this crazy, jumping, loud, ginger, fox-looking dog.”
And the Jumping Continues
However, over time, the other dogs have grown accustomed to her beach-related behavior, no matter how unique and extraordinary her jumping is. This is Tofu's way of expressing her love for the beach.

This is not a one-time occurrence; this is how it goes for her with each and every visit to the beach. Her mom thinks this is her way of thanking her for bringing her to the beach, her most favorite place.
