Adorable Dog Wants The Stick That Is Still Attached To The Tree
Indy, short for Indiana Bones, has a talent for turning an ordinary walk into a tiny comedy routine. The playful dog was adopted seven months ago, and his family is still discovering just how determined he can be when something catches his eye.
Most of the time, Indy is either shy and reserved or bursting with energy, especially if sticks are involved. His mom, Brooke Ferguson, says he has always loved them, even the kind that are basically logs, and that obsession led him to one very stubborn tree.
One day, Indy spotted a stick that was still attached to the trunk, and he was not about to let that detail stop him.
Indy trying to pull the stick from the tree
Due to his determined and persistent nature, Indy decided that he would get that stick. Somehow, he got hold of it and tried to pull it off the tree with all his might.
But nothing happened. That's when his parents noticed him struggling to get the stick off the tree, so they made a video to capture this funny and innocent moment.
They thought that at some point he would get bored and give up. But there is no giving up when Indy is involved.
So, every time he is outside, he gives it a try. The amazing thing is that, with his persistent effort, he has managed to succeed to some extent.
“He's tried about six or seven times since then, but we don't always catch it on camera,” Ferguson said. “He is relentless! He has succeeded in removing about twelve inches of one branch, but that's as far as he's gotten. The tree is the reigning champion.”
That little battle turned into a running joke for the whole family.
This is similar to the dog trapped in tar who barked for help with every ounce of energy.
Check out Indy's determination
This effort to get the stick off the tree has become Indy's major purpose in life, or so it seems. This has made his parents curious to see how long he will continue at it.
“We're imagining him training for the whole branch with a 'Rocky' montage,” Ferguson remarked. “He will not be defeated.”
