Dog Created A Masterpiece Of Art While Napping On The Deck During Rain
A Labrador named Patsy has a talent for turning the most ordinary spot in the house into her favorite hangout. Hiking, ice cream runs, baby visits, and treats from mom's office all make her happy, but nothing seems to beat a long nap on the back deck.
That habit became a little more interesting when rain turned her deck time into an accidental work of art. Patsy’s family kept trying to call her inside, but she stayed put, and the result left everyone laughing.
Now the only question is how a sleepy dog managed to create such a masterpiece without even trying.
“We have plenty of indoor and outdoor dog beds, but in her opinion, the warm deck can’t be beaten.”
So one fine afternoon, Patsy was taking a nap on the deck as usual. That's when it started to rain.
Her parents were anxious to rush her inside the house, but she wouldn't budge.
“We jokingly call her our queen because she is just relaxing all the time and can’t be bothered to get up—in this case, not even for a rainstorm,” Hoeflinger told us. “We were out working in the yard when we ran for cover and noticed she had no motivation to get up and out of the rain.”
The “queen” Patsy refusing to move in the rain is similar to the weary canine who kept slipping away from “familial duties” to rest at a friendly woman’s house.
Seeing her lack of motivation, her parents kept calling her in the hopes she might listen.
Eventually, she gave in to their constant calls, but when she got up, she left a masterpiece on the deck. The spot where she had been sitting was dry, while the surroundings were all wet due to the rain.
That is why the dry patch was in the shape of Patsy's perfect outline. Her parents could not stop laughing when they saw her artwork.
Seeing everyone laughing, Patsy seemed a little confused because she didn't realize what she had created in her ignorance.
All she was annoyed about was having to get up from her cozy spot where she had made a perfect piece of art.
