This Guy Improved Titanic by Editing His Cat Into It, and the Results Are Oscar-Worthy
Some movie parodies are funny for a minute, then fade fast. This one keeps getting better the longer you look at it, because Titanic has been edited into a full-on cat comedy starring OwlKitty.
Animator and filmmaker Tibo Charroppin, along with his 5-year-old cat Lizzy, has turned big-name blockbusters into playful internet hits from Portland, Oregon. Their latest project takes on Titanic, and the result is packed with familiar scenes, ridiculous timing, and a very committed feline lead.
Scroll through the images and behind-the-scenes footage, because Lizzy may have just stolen the whole movie.
Introducing Leonardo DiCaprio...

...and Lizzy, aka OwlKitty!

Starring in "OwlKitty's Titanic"

The casting choice could not be more perfect.
Leonardo looks so pleased to be holding Lizzy

And Lizzy is a natural in some of the film's most romantic scenes

Um, you didn't fall in, did you, Lizzy?

Oh, there you are—phew!

Just look at the love in their eyes

Leo and Lizzy have some serious chemistry

Even the most dramatic moments somehow turn into a joke.
And Leo is entirely smitten with this kitten

The dance scene is so fun; it's one of our favorites

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Meoooowwwwww!

Being the lady that she is, Lizzy keeps her composure in every situation

She's such a pro!

It wouldn't be Titanic without the drawing scene, and naturally, Lizzy nailed that too

"Paint me like one of your French cats."

What a good-looking couple!

Then the story takes a familiar turn, with another character stepping into the frame.
When things started getting real, Lizzy knew she was safe in Leo's arms

This other girl, Kate, made an appearance in the film too, but it was just a small role

In the scene, Leo shows her some of his drawings

And Kate seems undeniably jealous for some reason

The scene that broke all of our hearts
"Don't let go, Jack."

People online were quick to crown the parody a winner.
Here's how people reacted.
"I admire what you do with these clips."

"This wins the internet."

An Oscar-worthy performance!

What did you think of Lizzy's performance? We believe it's only a matter of time before she's up for an Academy Award.
The likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Emily Blunt better be careful because OwlKitty is coming for your crowns, queens! I mean, she already starred in Pulp Fiction, too.
If you love Lizzy as much as we do (and how could you not?), you can check out some of her and Tibo's other projects on her OwlKitty website. Let us know which ones are your favorites in the comment section.
