Relatable Cat Life Purr-fectly Depicted In These Cat Comics
Cats have a way of turning ordinary life into a running joke, and that is exactly why cat comics keep hitting so hard. From sleepy stares to dramatic zoomies, there is always something familiar in the chaos.
In this collection, Singapore-based cartoonist Xibang turns everyday feline behavior into clean, funny strips that capture the strange little bond between people and their cats. Even without owning one himself, he clearly understands the mood, the mischief, and the emotional whiplash that comes with living around a cat.
Some of these comics are sweet, some are painfully accurate, and a few feel a little too real. Read on.

"I've been making silly jokes for the Internet for a decade, but my comics only really took off when I drew the 'Death and the Dog' comic. I try to be positive and/or funny, but I often draw about how short and important life is too, because when you have a kid, you start thinking about that kind of thing. A lot. So you get a bit of everything in my comics."

"I've been doodling since I was a kid, and I'm largely influenced by the manga and cartoon art that I grew up with," Xibang says. "I'm self-taught, which explains my obvious lack of artistic skill."
Xibang is quite modest because it's evident that even though his clean style looks plain, his comics are intelligent and funny.
No matter if it's playing, cuddling, or sleeping, Xibang perfectly depicts every vital part of the human-feline relationship.
