An Owl Saved By A Man Became His Best Friends And Keeps Him Company Inside Instead Of Hanging Outside
Peter Middleton found a little lost baby owl flat on the ground. The owl was in pretty terrible shape.
He was covered all over with mud and he had a pretty acute infection in his feet. Seeing his deplorable condition, Mr. Middleton couldn't help himself and decided to rescue the owl.
Mr. Middleton named this owl Bertie. He took him to the vet. He stayed in the vet's care for around two months.
Once he recovered and was getting healthy, he became pretty active too, flying around. So, the vet asked Mr. Middleton to take him and keep him with other birds specifically owls.
Mr. Middleton took him home and put him inside his dog cage on his back porch. Bertie seemed pretty uncomfortable so Mr. Middleton took him out and brought him inside the house.
From that day onward, Bertie stays inside the house. He doesn't like to go outside so instead, he keeps Mr. Middleton company.
Mr. Middleton takes special care of him and feeds him chicks and mice. Following are some pictures of Bertie with Mr. Middleton during his various indoor activities.
