Abandoned Dog Can't Stop Thanking The Woman Who Rescued Him
Some rescue stories hit harder than others, and this one starts with a dog who had every reason to be scared of people. Left tied up with his siblings in brutal heat and without food or water, he was running out of time fast.

Then a woman spotted the dogs and made a split-second decision to get them out of there. What happened next, though, was the part that stayed with her, because one of the pups seemed to know exactly who saved him.

And he did not hold back on the gratitude.
"I waited to see if someone would help them, and I couldn’t sleep at night, so I saved them."

As she drove, one of the pups reached out his paw and grabbed her hand.
This echoes the lone woman tracing mysterious cries to a wounded puppy abandoned in the snow.
"It broke my heart that he’d been neglected and was dying, yet he wasn’t mad at me but grateful," she explained. "I started to cry, and again, his focus shifted from himself to my needs."
The woman was astonished by how a dog that had been treated so badly could show her so much affection and trust.
"I couldn’t believe so much love came from an animal that had just come from a situation like his."
We really don't deserve dogs!
