Watch This Dog Go From Being Scared Of Human's Touch To Being Loved By Her New Owner
Eliza June’s story is a hard one to look at, but it also shows just how much a dog can change when she finally gets kindness instead of fear. From the first photos to the moment she starts trusting again, the difference is impossible to miss.
She began as an abandoned dog who seemed terrified of human touch, then slowly warmed up after being taken in by a new owner named Annie. The contrast between those early moments and her later comfort is what makes this story hit so hard.
By the end, Eliza June is no longer just surviving, she is finally safe in a forever home. Read on.
You can just tell by the photos that she is not very happy at all in her current state. She's in fight or flight mode constantly.
This dog's name is Eliza June, and she was abandoned by her owners, which led to her being hit by a car. When animal rescue was finally able to come to get her, she was confused, scared, shaking, hurt, and very sad.
Although her physical trauma was extremely severe, her mental trauma is what led to her being labeled "very aggressive," as she was always in fight or flight mode, even with the rescue team.

It's so sad what terrible pet owners can do to these precious animals.
We are thankful for Annie and the way she stepped up to help this poor little pup.
This is similar to the ownership dispute where a man refused to return a support dog to the original owner.

This story is so sad, but you can clearly see how much of a difference having a caring owner makes versus the alternative. We are thankful for Annie and others like her who are willing to sacrifice and help nurse abandoned animals back to health.
