Watch This Dog Go From Being Scared Of Human's Touch To Being Loved By Her New Owner
Abandoned dogs and animals are becoming a huge problem all over the world, and many people are spending their days trying to combat this issue. This story is yet another that goes through the process of a dog being abandoned while watching her warm up to her new owner.
It's very sad to see stories like this, but it opens our eyes to the fact that there is a huge difference in animals based on how their owners treat them. This dog is living proof of that, and that is why we thought we'd share her story today.
This story is about a dog named Eliza June and how she started out terrified of humans but later warmed up and is now living in her forever home. That's a bit of a spoiler, but we want the difference in her actions to be noticed, as it proves a significant point.
It's also important to remember that there are options for surrendering your pet to a shelter if you are no longer able to take care of them, which will prevent them from going through anything like what Eliza June experienced.
Let's dive into this sad but amazing story.
You can just tell by the photos that she is not very happy at all in her current state. She's in fight or flight mode constantly.
This dog's name is Eliza June, and she was abandoned by her owners, which led to her being hit by a car. When animal rescue was finally able to come to get her, she was confused, scared, shaking, hurt, and very sad.
Although her physical trauma was extremely severe, her mental trauma is what led to her being labeled "very aggressive," as she was always in fight or flight mode, even with the rescue team.

It's so sad what terrible pet owners can do to these precious animals.
Eliza was extremely fearful of humans, and you could definitely tell that abuse was a common occurrence in her previous household. She was scared of humans, as well as the sight of leashes and collars.
Eliza suffered from a bruised rib, a fractured hip, a broken pelvis, and significant mental damage.
A woman named Annie Morgan stepped up and took Eliza in for fostering, but Eliza took a very long time to warm up to her. Eliza backed herself into corners and shied away every time Annie approached her, as if she was expecting Annie to hurt her.

We are thankful for Annie and the way she stepped up to help this poor little pup.
Eliza took her time warming up to Annie, but Annie wasn't going to give up; she was more inclined to help the puppy the more scared the puppy became of her. Eventually, Annie's efforts paid off because we can now say that Eliza has found her forever home with Annie.

This story is so sad, but you can clearly see how much of a difference having a caring owner makes versus the alternative. We are thankful for Annie and others like her who are willing to sacrifice and help nurse abandoned animals back to health.
