Two Abandoned Dogs Received Much-Needed Help Just In Time After Losing Their Sibling
Two abandoned dogs were found in heartbreaking condition, and the timing of their rescue made all the difference. Their story is painful, but it also shows how quickly things can change when someone decides to step in.
The pair had been left behind for far too long, and one of them had already lost a sibling by the time help arrived. What followed was a difficult but hopeful effort to get them food, water, shelter, and a chance to recover.

These little puppies were left and abandoned by their owners simply because they were sick.
This is so sad that an owner could do this to them.
The dogs were left in a waterway, which means there was no way for them to get out on their own. They aren't very capable of doing things independently.

Nobody was able to help these puppies until one day a man came along and brought them some food and water. He then called animal rescue to come and help them.
Their bond made the rescue even more heartbreaking.

This dog is so smart for leading them back to the other sibling.
Once animal rescue arrived, they started to get the dogs ready for transportation. That's when one of them started to walk away but looked back as if she wanted them to follow her.
I couldn't imagine walking up to this poor dog and her deceased sibling.
That's when they led her to the third puppy, who didn't make it due to being so malnourished. The sister started to try to wake the deceased dog by using her paws, but unfortunately, the puppy was already gone.
This is so sad I can't handle it.
The dog then laid her head on her sibling, giving her one last little bit of love before parting ways.
It is refreshing to know that these two are getting the help they need, though.
The two dogs were brought to a medical center to get tested for any diseases.
I can't put myself in the shoes of a pet owner like this.
It turns out that the dogs have a treatable case of mange. This is particularly upsetting because it means the owner could have treated and helped them.
They look so much different.
These two babies are happy and thriving. RIP to the lost sibling, but we are happy that these two dogs have a second chance at life.
