Two Abandoned Dogs Received Much-Needed Help Just In Time After Losing Their Sibling
We hear about abandoned animals all the time in our world because, unfortunately, this is something many pet owners choose when they can no longer care for their animals. Whether you see sad posts about abandoned dogs or perhaps those heartbreaking commercials on television, we can all probably say we've heard a story that breaks our hearts about abandoned dogs.
It's a sad world we live in when this has become so common, but there are kind people every day who help to get these animals back into shelters and nurse them back to health. That's exactly what happened with these little pups after they had been left alone for so long.
This story shows the courage of the dogs and the love between them while also highlighting the absolute selflessness of humans who decide to help these poor animals. These little puppies were left and abandoned by their owners simply because they were sick.
This is so sad that an owner could do this to them.
The dogs were left in a waterway, which means there was no way for them to get out on their own. They aren't very capable of doing things independently.
I can't imagine how they felt.

The disappointment and sadness must have been unreal for them.
Every noise they heard made them perk up to see if it was their owners coming back for them. However, they were disappointed every single time.
They look like they're happy to be together, but we know they were so very sad.
We are all very thankful for this man.
Nobody was able to help these puppies until one day a man came along and brought them some food and water. He then called animal rescue to come and help them.
This dog is so smart for leading them back to the other sibling.
Once animal rescue arrived, they started to get the dogs ready for transportation. That's when one of them started to walk away but looked back as if she wanted them to follow her.
I couldn't imagine walking up to this poor dog and her deceased sibling.
That's when they led her to the third puppy, who didn't make it due to being so malnourished. The sister started to try to wake the deceased dog by using her paws, but unfortunately, the puppy was already gone.
This is so sad I can't handle it.
The dog then laid her head on her sibling, giving her one last little bit of love before parting ways.
It is refreshing to know that these two are getting the help they need, though.
The two dogs were brought to a medical center to get tested for any diseases.
I can't put myself in the shoes of a pet owner like this.
It turns out that the dogs have a treatable case of mange. This is particularly upsetting because it means the owner could have treated and helped them.
They look so much different.
These two babies are happy and thriving. RIP to the lost sibling, but we are happy that these two dogs have a second chance at life.
