Adventurous Cat Goes Literally Everywhere With Her Thrill-Seeking Owner
Cathode is not your average house cat. Adopted by Rémy Vicarini six years ago, the eight-year-old feline has spent her life tagging along on one adventure after another, from everyday outings to skydiving trips that would make most pets bolt for the nearest hiding spot.
Vicarini has built a travel-filled life with his companion cat, and the pair have turned heads with just how far Cathode goes by his side. He says he keeps her safe, even when the plans get a little wild, and that mix of caution and chaos is exactly what makes their story so memorable.
From Instagram snapshots to bigger-than-life excursions, Cathode keeps proving she is ready for whatever comes next. Read on.

4. "We already have a lot of adventures with Cathode. I just wish it could go on for a long time. And maybe one day we'll be able to take a long bike trip across Europe."

That dream sounds pretty ambitious for one very adventurous cat.

She definitely knows how to keep people watching.

"I am an engineer with a Ph.D. in science. I am a lonely and hardworking person; I have always been really into what I do! I took responsibility for Cathode the day I adopted her, so I had to give her the best I could from that moment on. She makes me feel good, she makes me feel like a better person, and I know that I can count on her; she will never give up on me."

"Cathode is always safe with me; I make sure of that. In all the sports I practice with Cathode, I master them very well on my own, so when I am with her, I don't take any risks. Cathode is always attached with a leash so that she keeps a safe distance in the basket and does not go too far.
On a motorbike, she wears a helmet that helps shield her eyes from the wind."

"Cathode prefers the bike; the speed is just perfect—not too fast and just enough to feel the wind in her whiskers. On my back, all the bumps are cushioned; it's great for Cathode. I love cycling too, especially because I see Cathode happy."

"I took Cathode by bicycle for the first time a month after adopting her. It was dark, and there were no cars. She was already used to the bike."

In an interview with Bored Panda, Rémy said:
"I rescued Cathode when she was six months old from a shelter. I was in long studies and was looking for a feline companion to share my life."

"Cathode is very endearing, obedient, and clingy. She is very curious and, at the same time, a little fearful. That's how I manage to take her with me, and that's why she stays with me; she trusts me.
In the beginning, I could only offer her an apartment life, so I wanted to let her discover the outdoors in complete safety."

Cathode is clearly not slowing down anytime soon.
