Stray Kitty Went Through An Amazing Transformation After She Found A Loving Home
A year ago in Malaysia, a tiny white kitten turned up under a car and looked like she might not make it. She was dirty, badly underweight, and covered in sores, but Nur Hamizah Had still stopped to help when the little stray came into view.
What happened next turned into a slow rescue story, with a box, a vet visit, and a whole lot of patience. Hamizah named the kitten Meimei and gave her a chance to recover in a real home.
Then the transformation began, and it was bigger than anyone expected.

Even though the kitty appeared to be too sick to survive, there was something about her that told Hamizah this little creature was a big fighter. So, she got a box and placed it in front of the kitty. Without hesitation, the kitten strolled right in.

Hamizah Had took the kitty in and named her Meimei. The next day, she took her to the vet, where she received instructions on how to help her recover. The poor cat weighed just 4 pounds and had numerous open sores and other skin issues that needed treatment.

With the love and care she received from Hamizah Had, Meimei started to transform.
It’s like the Canadian border agents who were stunned by the mysterious “Precious Cargo” box from China.
First, she started eating.

Her fur started growing back:

In five months, the tiny stray completely transformed:

Meimei is now a real house cat with a healthy weight of 13 pounds.
“She likes to eat, she likes to sleep, and she likes to play around my house,” Hamizah Had says. “But if she sees someone unfamiliar, she will run and hide.”

Wait until you see how “Hidey,” the neglected cat, was freed from 4 pounds of fur.
