Amazon Driver Is Bitten By A Dog While On Duty And Is Shocked To Be Instructed To Finish His Route Before Going To The Emergency Room
When working for a renowned company, you would think that you would be treated well as an employee, given how much success the company has garnered throughout the years. However, it's not really surprising that many of them actually have poor comprehension of their employees' struggles, and these issues have already been exposed by numerous ex-employees who used to work for big companies known all over the world.
Working for a toxic company that doesn't know how to genuinely care for its employees to the point that their basic, emergency, needs are neglected is quite taxing, and it will drain anyone, no matter how enthusiastic they are about their job. It's no wonder that workers are experiencing burnout, and even though they are often dreadfully underpaid, they have no choice but to stick to their jobs and endure the mistreatment because keeping a job nowadays is much more preferable than exhausting their energy to find another one.
Even if you start out content and happy, there will come a time when you will become sick of coming to work every day because of how toxic and negative the company culture is. Fortunately, people are becoming braver and more vocal about their concerns and issues regarding the treatment they receive from their current employers, including this particular driver...
This is Justin Baker, an Amazon driver who experienced the company's questionable treatment and values while on duty.
Amazon already has a long history of questionable values, and from time to time, they become the subjects of constant criticism.
Justin was bitten by a dog while on his route, and he exposed Amazon on social media because of their poor responses to emergency situations. The video now has over 177k views and more than 8k likes.

He spoke about the company's poor response after he was bitten by a dog, and when he called for help, it was no good.

It's an emergency, and they still put him on hold.

He was then asked completely unrelated questions about the incident.

Completely void of urgency, his manager still asked him to finish his route before going to the ER—putting his body at risk of infection. And they didn't care.

It's truly maddening how a company like Amazon treats its employees with no remorse whatsoever, even in the middle of an emergency.

Watch the whole video below:
Here are some of the people's reactions in the comment section:

Justin further exposed the company, saying that they took six months to fully pay his hospital bills.

It might have been a greater route to take, but Amazon should still be responsible for its employees.

Lesson learned: don't ever trust Amazon when you are in an emergency situation.

How detached can they be?

They have gotten away with many questionable things already.

We sure hope all companies are like this.

As it should be!

Oops.

So many red flags here.

They're still innocent creatures, after all.

Truth.

They simply don't care.

It's never right to support companies that treat their employees so poorly.

Sad thing to say.

It's not only Amazon; plenty of companies out there blatantly neglect their workers as if they aren't humans who also find themselves in dire situations. It's quite alarming how much they are willing to prioritize their business over the well-being of their workers, even when those workers are suffering.
