11 Best Photos Of Animals Conquering Obesity And Their Inspiring Weight Loss Stories
A healthy pet is a happy pet, and as a pet owner, ensuring that your pet is in its best shape is one of the ways to show that you truly love them. However, not everyone is able to achieve that healthy goal for many reasons.
Factors such as the pet-owner relationship, food portioning, and physical activity contribute to pets being overweight. Like humans, being overweight takes an emotional, mental, and physical toll on animals' health, and they need proper assistance and care from their owners and veterinarians.
It is never easy for pets to lose weight. It requires more than just controlling their food intake and letting them exercise; keeping them motivated to do so is a challenge for pet owners.
Although it does take a lot of patience and time, it is not an impossible task. Depending on the owner's willingness to monitor and help their pets, improvements can be seen within a few months to years.
To provide inspiration that weight loss is achievable for pets, we have compiled some stories from The Biggest Loser Challenge: Animal Edition. You can scroll down and find out how these pets were able to lose excess weight with the assistance of their owners.
