Orange and White Cat Walked Into This Family's Life Right After They Wished for One
Some cats arrive with a collar, a carrier, and a careful introduction. Others just wander in and act like they have always belonged there.
That is exactly what happened to one family after they had been wishing for a cat of their own. An orange and white stray showed up at the right moment, and the timing made the whole thing feel almost too perfect.
Now the family has a new furry presence, and the story only gets sweeter from there.
A'Lana Bates asked her mom what she wanted for Mother's Day, and her mom decided she wanted an orange and white cat. The family assumed they would adopt a kitten in a few months.

Instead, not long after their conversation, one stormy night, a stray orange and white cat wandered into their yard to take shelter from the rain!
A'Lana told The Dodo:
“At first, he was very rough-and-tumble and only wanted us to bring him food and water on the deck. Slowly, he started coming into the house, but we couldn’t touch him.”

This also matches the chaos when a son’s surprise cat backfired, leaving his parents on the verge of separation.
“We had a stray show up in the early nineties who was an orange and white female we named Carmel, and she was the best cat. A couple of years after she died, we adopted an orange and white barn cat we called Spooky, who was simply a joy. He died in 2008, and Mom has been wanting another.”
It took a while to gain his trust, but Tom decided he loved them and wanted to be the next orange and white cat to steal the family's heart!

Even though Tom isn't exactly sure how to be a proper cat, he knew exactly which family to choose to be his!
“Tom wants to be a lover but isn’t sure how. I am pretty sure the moment he showed up, my folks knew they were keeping him.”
