Rescue Kitten Gets A Pupperccino As A Treat And She Loves It
Organizations that foster and provide medical attention to animals are some of the best and most pure out there. They do nothing but help animals, often those that have been abandoned, hurt, or have severe medical problems.
The organizations spend a lot of time, effort, and resources helping and healing these animals. More than that, these people give an incredible amount of love to the healing and support of these poor creatures.
Foster shelters also invest significant time preparing the animals for their new lives once they have been rehabilitated. This means that the animals will be trained and socialized to ensure a smooth transition into their new lives in their forever homes.
Foster organizations often go above and beyond to help the animals, and it is an expensive and emotional endeavor. That is what happened when this foster organization in New Jersey, United States, came across a litter of very sick kittens. While taking care of the sickest of the kittens, they became really attached to her and ended up taking her out for a special treat when she was ready to leave their care—naturally, they took her to Starbucks!
Sadly, one day, a litter of kittens was found orphaned in New Jersey. The six kittens were soaking wet from being left out in the rain, and they were seriously ill.
The organization, Foster the Furbabies, stepped in to lend a hand and rescue the poor, sick kittens.
When they were rescued, the tiny kittens were only three weeks old. What is more, they were very sick.
They were suffering from upper respiratory infections, eye infections, and parasites. They were immediately taken by Foster the Furbabies to receive the medical attention they desperately needed.
Of all the kittens, Meredith was in the worst condition.
While most of the kittens recovered quickly from their issues, Meredith struggled. She had some problems with her eyes.
It took a lot of time and many vet treatments for Meredith to finally be ready for adoption. Unfortunately, Meredith never fully recovered from her eye problems and still has a slight vision impairment.
One of the biggest challenges that foster people and organizations face is having to say goodbye to the animals once they have finished their treatment, been socialized, and are finally ready for adoption. Meredith was no exception.
Once she was finally ready to be adopted, the people caring for her had spent a lot of time nurturing her, and they were very attached to the cute little kitten. So, as a way to congratulate Meredith on her recovery and to say goodbye to the sweet cat before she was listed for adoption, they decided to take her on a Starbucks run.
Meredith was well-known for loving her food, so they thought she might enjoy a fun little treat from Starbucks.

Judging from the video, it is fair to say that they were right in their assessment that Meredith would be a fan of her beverage! Of course, puppuccinos are a special pet-friendly option that select stores offer.
Puppuccinos are basically just a little cup of frothy milk and whipped cream, and Meredith loved it. From the first few licks, Meredith was obsessed.
Meredith's little face was covered in cream after just a few seconds, but she didn't care. She was simply having the time of her life!
Naturally, some people were concerned that cats should not be given dairy because, like some humans, cats are actually lactose intolerant. The organization did check some studies before giving the cat dairy, and she wasn't actually going to be consuming that much—especially not since most of it ended up on her face!
Only a few days later, Meredith was adopted and taken to her forever home. She is happy, healthy, and has some new cat siblings that she loves to hang out with.
