Lost Cat Met Up With Some Hikers To Climb A Massive Mountain In Switzerland
A lost cat turned a mountain hike in Switzerland into something nobody expected. What started as a climb up Mt. Britsen quickly became a rescue mission when hikers heard a faint meow in the middle of the trail.
Cyril and Erik Rohrer were already tackling a 10,000-foot summit when they found the frightened cat, cold and exhausted. Instead of leaving her behind, they kept her with them and helped her along the way.
By the time the hike was over, the cat had become part of the story, and the real surprise was still waiting at the bottom.
Cyril and Erik Rohrer were embarking on the challenge of climbing the 10,000-foot summit of Mt. Britsen when they heard a mysterious noise.

A cat meowing!

The cat was lost and scared.

That is where the hike took a turn.
But she decided to join the journey. The cat was freezing and tired, so they often had to carry her along.

As they had planned to ski down the other side of the mountain, they offloaded the cat to some other hikers to take her back down.

The story only got better from there.
This shared “save the stranded animal” energy is similar to the courageous man who risked his life to free a mountain lion trapped in a snare.
They later learned that the adventurous cat had gone missing a few days earlier and had followed another group of hikers up the mountain.
The hiking-loving cat was then returned to her loving family!
