Even though Everyone Warned Him Not To Touch The “Ugly Cat,” This Man Didn’t Listen
Ugly was the kind of cat most people looked at twice, then quickly looked away. He was scarred, missing pieces, and known around the apartment complex for picking fights, digging through garbage, and surviving on his own terms.
But one person saw something different in him, even after neighbors warned kids to stay away and adults tried to drive him off. What happened next turned a so-called ugly cat into a story nobody forgot.
Here is the story of Ugly the Gorgeous.
“Everyone in the apartment complex I resided in was aware of Ugly”

“Ugly, on the other hand, always had the same reaction when he was attacked. He would remain there and refuse to move until the wicked stranger abandoned the hose and the rocks and left him alone.
If you tossed things at him, he would run up to you and rub his head against your feet, begging for forgiveness. When Ugly spotted children, he would run up to them and bump his head against their hands, hoping to be stroked.
If you picked him up, he would instantly begin licking your shirt or ears, or whatever he could reach.”
That was the part that made people stop and stare.
He loved to fight, eat garbage, and play.

One day, Ugly fell in love with the Huskies who lived next door. His advances were not well received, and he was badly hurt.
“I ran to his rescue after hearing his screams from my room. By the time I arrived, he had already died; he had been viciously killed.
I carried him home because I was concerned that touching him would make him uncomfortable. He gasped and strained, but then a familiar feeling rose up through my body from beneath my ear.
Ugly had his mouth on my ear. He slammed his head on my hand as I drew him closer.”
This reminds us of Beaux Tox, the heartbroken “ugly” dog abandoned for his looks, until an angel family stepped in.
Even then, he still reached for affection.
But the people didn't like him because of the way he looked

Then he turned his one golden eye onto me, and I heard purring. Even though he was in excruciating pain and covered in scars, the battle-scarred cat only wanted one thing: a little love.
I believed Ugly was the most lovely, loving creature I had ever seen at the time. He never attempted to bite, scratch, or run away from me.
Ugly simply gazed up at me, trusting that I could help him. Ugly died in my arms before I could get him inside, but I sat and held him for a long time afterward, reflecting on how one scarred, malformed little wanderer could change my perspective on what it meant to have a pure spirit.
To love completely and unconditionally.
A sad ending, but an unforgettable one.
“Ugly taught me more about giving and compassion than a thousand books, lectures, or talk show specials ever could.
Although it’s preferable to be honest, there are many individuals who want to be richer, more prominent, popular, and attractive. For me, however, I will always endeavor to be ugly,” the unknown writer concluded his story.
Moral of the story, microchip your pets after an abusive ex tried to hold her cat hostage, and she won in the end.
