Sweet Cat Visited Her Former Owner At His Nursing Home For An Emotional Reunion
Chicken Little had already been through a lot before her life took an unexpected turn. The cat lived with her dad, Tony, until he suffered a stroke and could no longer care for himself or his beloved pet, leaving neighbors to step in and help figure out what came next.
That search eventually led Amanda Hassan to Chicken Little, and she quickly agreed to foster the cat after seeing a Facebook post about Tony and his missing companion. Before long, the foster arrangement turned into something more permanent, and Chicken Little settled into a new home with Amanda.
But Tony never stopped being part of her story, and one visit back to his nursing home made that painfully clear.
When Tony was released from ICU, he was moved into a nursing home.

Amanda couldn't help but think about Tony and how much he must be missing his "Little Angel," so she decided to arrange a special visit.
Although the nursing home doesn't allow pets, the staff were happy to make an exception for the special reunion. "The nursing and care staff just pretend they don't see her," Amanda said.

It also echoes a dad who put his daughter’s cat up for adoption while she was hospitalized.
When Amanda let Chicken Little loose in Tony's room, the shy cat was a little unsure at first.

But the moment she saw her dad, she ran over to him for cuddles and love!
"He seemed to brighten right up when she did that," Amanda said. Tony was so happy to be reunited with his special girl again!
Amanda says she plans to take Chicken Little in to visit Tony regularly. "We are hoping to take her in every couple of weeks," she said.

"We are hoping to keep his spirits up with regular visits."
Okay, I'm not crying; you're crying!

Wait till you see the rescue cat that spilled tears of joy after reuniting with its owner.
