Sweet Cat Visited Her Former Owner At His Nursing Home For An Emotional Reunion
Chicken Little, the cat, loved living with her dad, Tony, until he sadly had a stroke and could no longer care for himself or his beloved fur baby. When it became clear that Tony wouldn't be returning home, one of his caring neighbors began searching for a new family for Chicken Little.
Amanda Hassan was on a waiting list with some local shelters to become a foster parent when she saw a post about Tony and Chicken Little on Facebook. Amanda immediately arranged to foster Chicken Little, and it wasn't long before she decided to adopt her.
Amanda fell completely in love with the charming little cat. "He called her his Little Angel, but we've taken to calling her Chicken Little because she talks so much," Amanda said.
When Tony was released from ICU, he was moved into a nursing home.

Amanda couldn't help but think about Tony and how much he must be missing his "Little Angel," so she decided to arrange a special visit.
Although the nursing home doesn't allow pets, the staff were happy to make an exception for the special reunion. "The nursing and care staff just pretend they don't see her," Amanda said.

When Amanda let Chicken Little loose in Tony's room, the shy cat was a little unsure at first.

But the moment she saw her dad, she ran over to him for cuddles and love!
"He seemed to brighten right up when she did that," Amanda said. Tony was so happy to be reunited with his special girl again!
Amanda says she plans to take Chicken Little in to visit Tony regularly. "We are hoping to take her in every couple of weeks," she said.

"We are hoping to keep his spirits up with regular visits."
Okay, I'm not crying; you're crying!
