Cat Loves Snuggling With Her Mama's Pregnant Belly And It's Adorable
Have you ever wondered how your cat would react if there were an addition to your family? Perhaps in the form of a new tiny human?
Well, if you have, this cat's story might just help ease any worries you may have! Liel adopted Panda as a rescue cat when she was just a kitten. The human and cat duo formed an immediate bond and became inseparable early on.
An inseparable bond with a beloved cat is certainly relatable! But then... Liel became pregnant.
Of course, we've all heard the stories of how cats supposedly pose a danger to newborn babies, and many people believe it's not a good idea to keep cats around a new baby as a precaution. However, Liel didn't believe any of that. So, she continued to spend time with her beloved best friend as usual.
As Liel's belly started growing, Panda seemed to notice the change. Whenever she had the chance, Panda would snuggle up to Liel and lay on top of her tummy.

While Liel thought this was adorable, she was naturally a little worried. She was anxious about what Panda would do when the new baby actually arrived. Would she be jealous? Would she try to lay on top of the baby?
Well, after Liel gave birth to her beautiful son, Sean, she posted an update (along with some adorable photos).
It turns out that Panda had been "guarding the baby" for those nine months, and once Sean arrived, Panda devoted all her attention to him.
Since Panda was not allowed into Sean's crib, she would sit nearby and watch over him constantly.
“Every time I put the baby in the crib, I can see lots of cat fur all over the bed,” says Liel.

“Cats and dogs are great companions for kids, and they can learn so much from them. I saw people giving up on their pets once there is a baby in the family because they’re afraid the pet will hurt the baby. I wish people would stop doing that!” Liel said.
