Pregnant Stray Cat Brought Into Woman's Office, and Now This Adorable Cat Family of Nine Has Their Own Meeting Room
A stray cat outside a Shanghai office building turned one ordinary workday into a full-on kitten story. What started with a hungry, friendly mama cat quickly became a shared project for the employees at Holmes & Marchant, who made room for her before she gave birth.
Yvonne, one of the staff members, noticed the cat was heavily pregnant, underfed, and eager for attention. Once the office realized how gentle she was, they set her up in a meeting room and prepared for the arrival of her kittens.
By the time Boba and her babies settled in, the office had a very different kind of meeting room. Read on.
The pregnant cat was meowing for attention. “It’s as if she was asking for help for her babies and herself,” Yvonne later said.

The people in the office took the mama cat in and named her Boba since she was so round.

They placed the kitty in a free meeting room and prepared a litter box and comfy bedding.

The office had officially become a maternity ward.
And after one stormy night, Boba gave birth to eight kittens.

"Newborn kittens—just a few hours old."

Boba fed and cleaned her beautiful babies—four boys and four girls.

The babies were so small that the office staff couldn’t tell them apart at first.
