Beautiful Friendship Between a Blind Great Dane and a Miniature Chihuahua Is Too Wholesome for Words
There are some friendship stories that just melt your heart. Of course, every friendship story is beautiful, but you and your buddies can’t beat these two in the cuteness category—ever.
This small Chihuahua and her large protector, Great Dane, are absolutely adorable.
They met at the Dogwood Animal Rescue in Sebastopol, California, and their videos went viral in no time.
Shirley Zindler, the founder of the animal rescue center, took in Bianca after her mother died during childbirth. She bottle-fed Bianca while Shelby sat beside her. This likely evoked some protective instincts in Shelby, and they have been spending time together ever since.
Shirley says, “It’s unusual to see dogs of different sizes play with each other. Shelby is quite patient with Bianca—but will push her away to make her stop if she’s biting.”
