Stray Cat Cleverly Ushers Random People To The Cat Food Section Of A Store Then Shows Them His Favorite Treats
A white cat outside a Mexican store had a very specific mission, and it was not just to sit there looking cute. Tania Sants noticed him waiting by the entrance, then realized he was leading people straight to the cat food aisle so they would buy him treats.
Once Sants followed him inside, the little strategist guided her right to his favorite snacks. She bought them for him, and later learned this was apparently part of his daily routine, with the cat showing up, making his case, and disappearing after the job was done.
That routine took an unexpected turn when Sants decided to follow him home.
It's a quite strategic spot.
When Sants visited the store again, she did not find him outside. This time, he was inside, waiting for her.
After Sants spoke to the store employees, she was informed that the cat comes to the store every day, and he's always attempting to convince people to buy him treats. After his mission is officially done, he always vanishes.

After buying him his favorite treats once again, Sants decided to stealthily follow him. She was eventually convinced that the cat was indeed a stray, so she decided to change that.

"I took him to my house and I adopted him," Sants told The Dodo.
The clever store cat now has a forever home and even a new potential best friend!
"They told me that no one had come looking for him," Sants said. "They thanked me for taking him home."
Now he doesn't have to worry about convincing people to buy him treats anymore. His new mom will get him everything he wants from now on.
"I bought him many treats," she said. "He can trust that I always will."
He really did work the room.
