A Group of Construction Workers Save a Drowning Puppy from a Canal
Being brave isn’t the absence of fear. Being brave is doing the right thing even when you are scared.
It is about surpassing yourself. Most importantly, being brave is not about choosing who deserves your help.
Good and brave people don’t care if it’s a human or an animal in distress; they act.
After saving a poor dog from probable death, a group of construction workers in Pasaje Canton, Ecuador, has been hailed as heroes. The men teamed up and used their digger to rescue the dog from drowning after it slipped into an irrigation canal with swift waters.
The rescue was captured on camera, and the video quickly went viral. This is what happened:
Some of the crew's coworkers notified them via radio that a dog had fallen into the canal and was being carried toward them by the rapids. They hurried to save the helpless dog without hesitation.
Abel Murillo, one of the workers, jumped into the excavator's bucket while his coworker helped him down until he could reach the dog. The dog, terrified and confused, ended up biting Murillo's hand, but that didn't stop the brave builder from rescuing her.

Construction workers in Pasaje Canton, Ecuador, received a radio call about a dog in the canal.
“The dog was almost about to let go because, with the force of the water, it hit the bucket and wanted to go under it,” the hero explained. “Then, what I did was grab the dog, and it bit me, but only with a slight bite.”
They knew it couldn't survive in the rapid waters, so one of them climbed into the bucket of a digging crane.
With little regard for his safety, he managed to grab the dog.
And take it to safety
The emotional scene was captured on tape, and it quickly went viral online, garnering millions of views and at least as many enthusiastic responses to the workers' lovely gesture.
The video begins with a person climbing onto the bucket of a digger crane, which transports him to the canal's midpoint. The man snatches the dog and places it in the machine with him after waiting a few seconds for it to approach.
Despite the tremendous flow of water, the construction worker saved the dog by yanking it out of the drain without regard for his own safety.

“We decided to get down with a bucket to rescue the dog,” the workers said. “Thank God we were able to catch it; we could give the animal another chance to live!”
An innocent soul was saved and given a second opportunity thanks to these brave men. The builders not only saved the puppy, but they also gathered enough money to transport her to the vet for treatment.
“It was in bad condition. We did a collection and took it to the vet, who gave it some injections,” they added.
True heroes. In every sense of the word.
