Precious Puppy Disposed of as Trash Found at the Right Time by a Heroic Litter Clean-Up Crew
Everyone knows what trash means. In fact, there’s a way someone might behave towards you or speak to you, and you’ll think, "This person’s trash."
But when it comes to our furry friends—our dear little pets, our snuggle buddies, our playmates, our loyal companions—the list goes on and on. Why would anyone want to treat them as trash? Seriously, I have yet to wrap my head around it.
Let’s dive into today’s story, and you can be the judge. The litter crews working with the Indiana Department of Transportation went out to do their jobs on a particular day.
While they were cleaning the Indiana highway, they encountered an astounding yet lovable revelation. As the crew members picked up the trash, they coincidentally found a little pup who was all alone on one side of the road.
It would have been fair if this little pup had been sitting in one corner, but no, the dog was found inside a trashcan. Who wakes up one morning and thinks, "Okay, today is a good day to discard something vital" and then picks up their dog and dumps it in a trashcan?
Well, the crew took a few pictures with the friendly little guy before carrying him to a safe and secure place.
Litter Crews with the Indiana Department of Transportation Stumbled Upon a Tiny Puppy Who Was All Alone on the Roadside
The Indiana Department of Transportation shared the photographs on their Facebook page and mentioned that one of the crew members took the little dog back home. They also added that they would check for a microchip as quickly as possible to determine if he belonged to someone.
They Snapped a Few Pictures with the Friendly Pup Before Bringing Him to Safety
At this point, it's unknown if the little friendly dog had an owner who dumped him in the trash or if he was born a stray. Fortunately, he is currently safe and out of danger, as he could not have possibly survived much longer without food or water.

What we know for sure is that if this little pooch doesn't have a microchip or if an owner isn't found, then the pup will either be set up for adoption or be lucky enough to be taken home by one of the crew members!
Thankfully, He Is Now Safe and Out of Harm’s Way
Whichever way it ends, we’re happy this little friendly pooch was found; otherwise, it might be a very different story. And it’s all thanks to the litter crew who saved this pup at the right time.
