Precious Puppy Disposed of as Trash Found at the Right Time by a Heroic Litter Clean-Up Crew
A roadside cleanup in Indiana turned into something nobody expected when a litter crew found a tiny puppy tucked inside a trashcan. The dog was alone, vulnerable, and in a place no pet should ever end up, which made the discovery even harder to process.
The Indiana Department of Transportation crew was out doing routine work when they spotted the pup and quickly stepped in to help. They took photos with the friendly little dog, then made sure he got to safety while they tried to figure out whether he had an owner.
Now the big question is whether this little pup will be reunited with someone or start over with a new home. Read on.
Litter Crews with the Indiana Department of Transportation Stumbled Upon a Tiny Puppy Who Was All Alone on the Roadside
The Indiana Department of Transportation shared the photographs on their Facebook page and mentioned that one of the crew members took the little dog back home. They also added that they would check for a microchip as quickly as possible to determine if he belonged to someone.
They Snapped a Few Pictures with the Friendly Pup Before Bringing Him to Safety
At this point, it's unknown if the little friendly dog had an owner who dumped him in the trash or if he was born a stray. Fortunately, he is currently safe and out of danger, as he could not have possibly survived much longer without food or water.
This is similar to the Burger King abandonment, where the note left “King” behind.

What we know for sure is that if this little pooch doesn't have a microchip or if an owner isn't found, then the pup will either be set up for adoption or be lucky enough to be taken home by one of the crew members!
Thankfully, He Is Now Safe and Out of Harm’s Way
Whichever way it ends, we’re happy this little friendly pooch was found; otherwise, it might be a very different story. And it’s all thanks to the litter crew who saved this pup at the right time.
