Moment Lady Strolls In To Find Her Father Napping With The Neighborhood Dogs Will Make You Smile
Catey Hall expected to find her father on the couch, but not with a whole pack of neighborhood dogs curled up around him. In this small Alabama community, Lon Watson has become the kind of person dogs seem to seek out, and they do not just stop by for a quick hello.
Hall says her dad sees, plays with, and naps beside at least one dog every day, including Hooch, Fluffer-Nutter, and Rosie. Watson has spent years helping stray and rescue dogs, and even the four dogs in his own home were taken in from the streets.
So when Hall checks in and finds another canine pile on the couch, it is just another day in a house where the dogs clearly know where they are welcome.

However, he receives daily visits from Hooch, Fluffer-Nutter, and Rosie, who are all dogs that live nearby and share a special bond with Watson. The dogs in the neighborhood are more than happy to wait all day for some quality time with Watson.

The area is an unincorporated part of semi-rural Alabama. The houses are situated far back from the street, allowing the dogs to stroll from one house to another without any fear. "The dogs usually hear my father's truck coming, and they meet him in the driveway," Hall said.
Watson has a way with every dog he meets
Fortunately, Watson's neighbors don't mind that their dogs choose to spend a significant amount of their time with him, and they never interfere with their unique naptime.
