Dog Got Hit By A Speeding Car At 80 MPH On Highway But Miraculously Survived Unscathed
A stray dog on an Italian highway somehow turned a terrifying 80 mph collision into a story people can hardly believe. The driver thought he had struck a person or animal hard enough to cause the worst, but what he found at the front of the car changed everything.
The dog, later identified as Paraflu, ended up lodged in the grille and survived with no serious injuries. Even the scans came back better than anyone expected, and the mystery of how he got there only made the rescue more remarkable.
It is the kind of roadside accident that should have ended badly, but somehow did not.
The dog has not only survived but got stuck in the front grille of the car, thus preventing him from sustaining serious injuries.
Considering the speed of the car, the impact should have been fatal, but the grille saved his life. The driver immediately called the Italian Veterinary Ambulance.
Their representative, Jimmy Dotti, was the first one to reach the scene of the accident. He was left speechless when he saw the dog's situation.

That is where the story takes a surprising turn.
This also reminds us of the dog that looked like a pin cushion after a run-in with a porcupine.
“In my many years of rescuing animals, I would say that this is one of the most miraculous cases,” Dotti shared.
The rescuers sedated the dog before pulling him out of the car's grille. Upon inspection, they realized he had sustained only minor injuries.

His scans were done, and they revealed that he had fortunately not suffered any spinal or brain injury.
He had only suffered a slight fracture in one of his front legs. Other than that, he remained largely untouched in the accident.
He started recovering pretty quickly and was named Paraflu by the rescuers.
Thankfully, Paraflu's spirits are still high, even though his leg will take some time to heal properly. Paraflu is now happy and hearty.

No one really figured out Paraflu's background or how he ended up in the middle of the highway on that fateful day.
