Dog Gets A Haircut At Home, And Her Reactions Are Adorable
Butter is the kind of dog who never seemed too concerned about looking polished, and that made her scruffy coat part of her charm. The 6-year-old pup had already won over her family with her laid-back personality, even after a rough start in life.
When her mom decided to give her a haircut at home, the plan was simple enough, but the result turned into something much more memorable.

A few days ago, Butter’s mom decided to give her a haircut at home. Her coat was a bit scruffier than usual, and the hot weather was approaching. Because of the whole COVID situation, her mom thought it would be best to skip the groomers this time and cut Butter’s hair herself.
Because of COVID, the grooming plan took a back seat.
The first cut was enough for Montufar to realize that the cutting length on the razor wasn’t appropriately adjusted, it was too short. But there was no going back, and she had to even out the rest of the coat.
The dog noticed the worried look on her face and decided to be supportive instead of being upset.

She picked up on my concern fairly quickly and kept licking me while continuing to stand still to help me finish up. Once I finished, my sweet girl kept trying to show me her grin, but she 100 percent knew this didn’t go the way it normally does! Once the makeover was done, Butter looked utterly different.
Butter quickly got used to her new hairstyle. "We got her a new outfit, but after an hour, she chewed it off," Montufar says. "She wanted to rock the new hairstyle!"
"She is now very comfortable with her new cut," she explained. "We live in Texas and are experiencing some hot days, so she's thankful for the short haircut."
Butter handled the whole makeover like a champ.
