Dog Saw A Stranger Lay Out A Blanket In The Park And Naturally Assumed It Was For Her
Goose has a gift for making friends, and she does not seem to care whether they are human, canine, or just trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon in the park.
After finding her forever home with her sister, Nan, a year ago, Goose has spent her days greeting strangers like they are old pals. That habit recently led her straight to a man relaxing on a blanket, where she decided the setup was clearly meant for her.
Her owner says Goose has always been the bold one, and this park encounter is exactly the kind of thing that makes her impossible not to love. Read on.
Recently, Goose was enjoying some time at the park with her family when she spied a man lying on a blanket in the sun.

This is similar to grieving Goose searching the cemetery for her lost partner, then getting a surprise soulmate on Valentine’s Day.
Naturally, Goose assumed the blanket must have been laid out as an invitation for her to join the man for a cuddle.
"If someone has a blanket on the ground at the park or at the beach, Goose believes it’s an open invitation for her," Amy said. "So when she saw this one, she made a beeline for it and did her classic, ‘I’m gonna roll around on my back until you pet me so much,’ move."

Goose made a beeline for the man and immediately threw herself down on his blanket. And, of course, the man was delighted.
"He loved it," Amy said. "He had a dog of his own who was more concerned with chasing a ball, but Goose will always opt for blanket snuggles."
Goose couldn't have been happier if she tried. She had made a new friend and was getting cuddles in the park-how much better could things get?
Eventually, Amy had to drag Goose away from her new friend when it was time to go home. Making new friends is her very favorite thing!
"She’s so goofy, so even if people are skeptical about pit bulls, they’re usually disarmed pretty quickly," Amy said.
Good girl, Goose!
