This Dog Defied Medical Science After Doctors Had Written Her Off
Dogs are the most precious little creatures to own. Not only are they the best companions, but they are also part of your family.
That's why, when they face challenges or get hurt, you feel terrible and want to ease that pain. Studies show that caring for sick dogs makes people more depressed and anxious, comparable to how people claim they feel when providing care for ill family members.
If you've had a dog with a serious medical condition before, you would know firsthand how horrifying it must be to find out your furry buddy may never completely recover. That's why Faith's story is so inspiring.
Faith was every dog lover's dream. From her agility to her adorableness, it was difficult not to fall entirely in love with her. How could you not? One look at this pup, and you'd be begging to take her home with you.
Unfortunately, one day, while she was playing in the backyard, Faith suddenly fainted. It was later revealed that she had suffered a severe stroke that left her bleeding from multiple areas of the brain.
However, this was only the beginning for Faith. Scroll down to find out how this brave dog navigated through the greatest challenge of her doggie life.
The Doctor's Verdict

Faith had always been the family's favorite, and her owners just couldn't stop spoiling and pampering her. The energetic, agile, and graceful canine was a joy to be around.
Unfortunately, Faith had a stroke a little over a year ago, which was a terrible tragedy. Many regions of her brain were affected by the hemorrhage, which was quite severe.
Hearing the Bad News

Although Faith could not hear the news, her owner, Hannah Lee, did. With tears in her eyes, she listened to the doctors tell her that her once-active dog would never be able to run, fetch, or walk.
Coping with the Reality of Things

Loving your dog means accepting them even when things are bad, and Hannah was determined to love Faith through it all. Together with her family, she urged the doctors to do everything they could to save her beloved Faith instead of euthanizing her.
The Next Step

For Faith, the doctors' verdict was not going to stop her. Three weeks after the stroke, she took her first steps. Although shaky, what mattered most was that she was moving.
The Journey to a New Life

Hannah and her family also tried to support the dog's journey. They gave her massages, exercised her limbs, and ensured that someone could stay home to care for her.
Despite her shaky steps, Faith continued to walk until she was back to her active self. Although she was not as fast as before, Faith became even more energetic and happier than ever.
Faith's story is yet another proof that there is nothing you cannot achieve if you put your mind to it. Everything we want is on the other side of trying.
It also helps to have supportive people around you, just as Faith had Hannah and her family. With people cheering you on every step of the way, there won't be any room to harbor the thought of giving up.
