Dogs Jump Fence and Sneak to Local Dollar Store to Shop for Dog Toys Without Telling Mom
Gabriela Carpenter found herself in the most unusual situation after bringing her dog, Johnny, along with her to visit her boyfriend. She was under the impression that her dog was playing with her boyfriend’s dog, Charlie, in the backyard, but things turned out to be quite different.
It only took a few minutes for the two dogs to disappear after Carpenter went back inside. She realized that the dogs must have escaped by jumping the fence, so she rushed to a nearby field to search for them.
Carpenter had no idea how she was going to find the dogs and felt lost for a while. Five minutes later, someone eventually showed up, offered help, and things became much clearer.
A car pulled into the driveway, and a random lady informed Carpenter of the dogs' location after spotting them while shopping with her child. As it turns out, Johnny and Charlie somehow managed to find their way to the dollar store and went straight for the dog toys.
Carpenter was relieved to hear the good news and immediately hopped into the woman’s car, heading straight to the store to put a stop to the fun adventure the dogs had decided to embark on.
Meet Johnny and Charlie, two curious dogs who love to go on adventures.

Johnny and Charlie decided to go on a shopping spree without informing their parents.

They felt they did not have enough toys, so they decided to get more.

“I was out in the pasture looking to see if they were chasing cattle,” Carpenter told The Dodo.
“I spent about 10 minutes looking when a car pulled into the driveway. A random lady who was shopping with her young child saw Johnny and Charlie come in and go straight to the dog toy aisle! She said her son asked to take them home, and she replied, 'No, these dogs are obviously spoiled and belong to someone!'

When Carpenter arrived at the dollar store, they were both still in the dog toy aisle, shopping casually.
“I was so embarrassed, but I couldn't help but laugh at how ornery and funny the situation was,” Carpenter said. “Everyone was laughing and said Johnny was bringing toys to customers (he is obsessed with playing fetch).”

The dogs were not embarrassed or regretful at all. They had the best time ever and were sad it had to end.

One thing is for sure now: Johnny and Charlie's parents will be watching them closely whenever they are out in that yard again. They now know the way to the dollar store and can decide to visit it anytime.
There is no such thing as too many toys when you're a dog.
