Clever Dog Had His Own Graduation Photoshoot And It Is So Lovely
Some pets end up in family photos, and then there is Ollie, who got his own graduation moment. Alex’s family had wanted a dog for so long that when they finally welcomed him home, he quickly became part of every big milestone.
That included Alex’s graduation photos, which were taken after the ceremony was canceled during the pandemic. Instead of leaving Ollie out, the family made sure he was right there in the pictures, and the result is as sweet as it sounds.
One photo turned into a keepsake, and then into something the whole family wanted to show off.
Alex's family decided to make an Instagram account for their beloved dog, Ollie.
Alex's graduation ceremony last year was canceled because of the pandemic, but when they took her graduation photos, they decided to include Ollie, too.
Alex said:
“We always said he was a professional good boy, so we thought we’d make it official with his own dog-ploma. He’s a typical retriever who loves to carry things, so he was very pleased with himself when we gave him his own scroll to hold for the photo. After a quick photo with the camera, he got lots of praise as usual. We took the hat off him, but he didn’t want to give his scroll back.”

That is one very proud family photo.
Of course they got it printed!

They clearly wanted everyone to see it.
They even hid it in their grandmother's house!
“I forgot about the photo until my mum and dad had my own graduation photos printed. They decided that they didn’t want to leave Ollie out and had his photos printed as well without telling me. It gave my sister and me a big laugh when we saw Ollie’s graduation photo on the wall next to ours.”
“We snuck it into my Nan’s house alongside all of her other grandchildren’s graduation photos. She thought it was hilarious, and she loves it. It’s now her favorite photo, and she shows it to anyone who comes to see her.”

Ollie really became part of the celebration.
