Man Finds Out His Dog Was Only Pretending To Walk With A Limp After An Expensive Trip To The Vet
It's no question that dogs are among the most affectionate creatures out there, and sometimes, they have different and peculiar ways of showing affection to the humans they love. They are certainly quirky little beings, but it's a no-brainer to say that we all love them!
Sometimes, they do all kinds of crazy things just to get your attention or to communicate something specific. They even know how to fake an injury just to garner your attention or sympathy!
That's exactly what happened when this particular dog suddenly started limping while on a walk with his owner, who was on crutches. The man became worried and rushed to the vet—only to find out that his dog was merely copying him out of sympathy!
The man spent about $400 just for the dog to be checked, so imagine the sheer relief and absurdity he felt when he discovered that the dog wasn't actually injured at all. While it's certainly a strange way of showing love and sympathy for his owner, it's actually heartwarming that the man, despite having an actual injury, was willing to rush and spend so much just to ensure his dog was okay.

Look how adorable he is—and with that face and playful personality, it's no wonder that his owner loved him so much that he was willing to spend so much just for him to "get well".
His owner, Russell Jones, from London, England, was suffering from an ankle injury and was forced to use crutches for the time being.
When he took Billy for a walk, he began to notice that the dog was limping. Russell became worried and rushed Billy to the vet to find out what was wrong.
The trip involved scans and X-rays for Billy, which all amounted to around £300 ($400)—only for Russell to find out that there was nothing wrong and the dog was merely copying him out of sympathy.
“He walked in normally, and when he came out, they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with him,” Russell said. “Cost me £300 in vet fees and X-rays, nothing wrong, just sympathy. Love him.”
Later that week, Russell's wife, Michelle, caught Billy sprinting around their backyard.
The dog limping alongside his owner on crutches was caught on video and went viral on social media, gaining reactions from all over the world.
“He’s copying you. That’s brilliant! Though you have my sympathy for the vet's bill,” one person commented.
Another said, “He’s come out in sympathy with you! Speedy recovery to both of you.”
