Dog Kept Trying to Break Into Baby's Nursery to Warn Parents That the Baby Was Suffocating
It is no secret that dogs are very intuitive, and unlike people, they have enhanced senses and can perceive things we are not aware of. That was exactly the case when one Boston terrier sensed something was wrong with his 9-month-old baby sister.
As usual, one Monday night, Kelly Andrew, a writer from Boston, put her daughter, who was suffering from a cold, to bed. However, something strange was happening with her 8-year-old dog, Henry, who kept breaking into the nursery.
Despite her best efforts to keep him away from the nursery because he was waking up the baby, Henry was repeatedly pushing open the nursery door with his head, as if something constantly drew him in and out of the nursery. Luckily, the dog's sixth sense activated, and he knew he had to warn them.
“She’s been sick, and I was getting so fed up with him. It seemed very belligerent and unusual for him, and every time I shooed him away, he would go back in every time my back was turned,” said Kelly.
At first, she thought he was just acting weird, but she quickly discovered that something was wrong with her daughter. In one of the interviews, Kelly explained, “She (her daughter) wasn't clearing her airway. She started to turn blue and go rigid, and she just really couldn't get air.”
Kelly and her husband rushed the baby to Connecticut Children’s Medical Care, where doctors managed to clear her airways. After the whole drama was over and their daughter was feeling well, Kelly and her husband could only wonder, “What would have happened if he hadn’t woken her?”
In a moving Twitter post, Kelly Andrew shared the whole story, and it quickly went viral.

Henry was very concerned, and he kept breaking in and out of the nursery.

This drama has a happy ending.

Fortunately, Henry managed to get their attention and warn them that something was wrong.
