Dog From Virginia Saved A Fawn From Drowning, Then Stayed By Its Side Until Its Mother Appeared

This is how Harley, a Goldendoodle from Virginia, amazed people when his owner shared how he saved a fawn from drowning. His owner also emphasized his dog's kind heart, which took care of the baby deer even after they reached the shore.
The post went viral on Facebook as Ralph Dorn, Harley's owner, showcased pictures and videos of his dog helping the fawn until it was reunited with its mother. He was not the only one proud of his dog's heroic actions; 250,000 users shared his post.

Ralph was looking for his 6-year-old dog, Harley, one evening after noticing that he was missing. He searched around a lake, knowing it was one of his dog's favorite places to go.
Upon reaching the lake, he saw that Harley was already paddling 200 feet from the shore, carrying a tiny animal by his side. They were unsure how the fawn ended up there, but Harley was determined to help; he immediately jumped into the river and saved the baby deer.

In an interview with People, Ralph said, "Harley didn’t want to leave the fawn. He just kept interacting with it, licking it, and caring for it. We could tell right away, even as a puppy, that he had such a good heart. He has always been like that with children and animals. He loves them all."

The baby deer returned, seemingly saying thank you and goodbye to Harley.
The mother deer and her baby disappeared after that day. However, the following day, Ralph noticed that Harley was restless, so he opened their front door, and that’s when they heard the fawn bleating as if calling Harley to come.
Harley ran into the tree line and found the fawn. The little one stopped bleating, wagged its tail, and they touched noses, sniffing each other. Harley then calmly returned to the house with me.
Indeed, humans aren't the only creatures in this world capable of being affectionate and kind towards others. Harley, the Goldendoodle therapy dog, has proven that even animals can express kindness in their own way.
