One-Eyed Dog Receives a Negative Comment from a Stranger; Owner Fights Back by Making a Post Online That Went Viral
Dr. James Greenwood, a BBC journalist and veterinarian, owns one of the prettiest animals ever. Even though Oliver, his Labrador Retriever, only has one eye, he has the happiest little face.
Greenwood is pleased to show off Oliver because he believes all dogs are attractive. However, one outsider ruined the day for Greenwood.
Even though thousands of people have commented on Oliver's cuteness, it only takes one unfavorable individual to tarnish the occasion. Oliver's appearance was the subject of a derogatory comment, which is patently untrue.
This prompted Greenwood to speak up and spark a conversation about the matter. After receiving an upsetting comment, Greenwood took to social media to express his feelings.
Beautiful Oliver was described as "f'ing unattractive" by a passerby. Although Greenwood was angry, he refrained from raising a fuss.
Instead, he informed all of his online followers about the awful person. Greenwood posted alongside a lovable image of Oliver, saying:
“To that Joe moment – Oliver isn’t ‘f’ing unattractive.’ But he’s a canine and can’t answer back, which principally makes you look completely foolish. You absolute doughnut,”
Oliver's prolapsed eye was caused by an adult Labrador attacking him when he was a puppy. He was the lone puppy in the litter who failed to find a family.
However, Greenwood later brought him home because he saw his beauty.
This Labrador Retriever named Oliver has only one eye, but that doesn’t stop him from having the happiest little face.

Many people were outraged at the passerby because of Greenwood's post, but it also sparked a lot of affection.
Greenwood turned to social media to share his feelings after a disturbing comment.

Many people expressed how much they adore Oliver. Along with Greenwood, dozens of non-natives also contributed pictures of their one-eyed pets. Every dog is equally endearing!
As a pup, Oliver had been attacked by an adult Labrador, which caused his eye to prolapse.

Of course, no animal is ugly. In their sweet remarks, all of Greenwood's devoted followers reminded him of that.
Thankfully, there are many more people willing to help others and spread happiness than there are unkind individuals.
Greenwood’s post caused many people to feel anger toward the passerby, but it also created lots of love.

“What I want to share with you is the countless number of smiles (Oliver) manages to bring to the faces of people as they pass us by. It really is a wonderful thing to go on a walk with Oliver, and a sight to behold!” wrote Greenwood. “If Oliver has taught me anything, it’s that there are more good people in this world than bad.”
Luckily, for every cruel person, there are dozens of people willing to support others and spread positivity.

Oliver isn't allowing the opinion of one person to affect him. If someone ever insults your pet, simply remember that there are thousands of dog lovers out there with respect to spare.
Therefore, let's focus on those good-hearted individuals rather than the hurtful ones. Share your thoughts about this story in the comments section below.
