Suffering Dog With Severely Swollen Face Roamed Streets Aimlessly Until Good Samaritan Saves Her Life
Jade was left to fend for herself on the streets of Santíssimo, Rio de Janeiro, with a face so badly swollen she could barely move. For days, the stray dog wandered aimlessly until a good Samaritan spotted her and realized she needed help fast.
At first, the man tried to tie her to a fence so she could eat without running off, but Jade was too weak to cooperate.
What happened next gave Jade a second chance she almost did not get.
“His condition is sad. His face was bathed in blood and had some bruises,” said Silva.
After arriving at the vet, they decided to name the sweet pup Jade. Her face was extremely swollen, and she was so weak that she couldn't muster enough strength to eat.

Jade's wounds appeared to result from a brutal beating.

She was bloody, swollen, and sore. Her body was also extremely dehydrated and suffered from anemia.

Jade was given antibiotics and is now receiving round-the-clock care.

Her condition has improved significantly; the swelling has gone down, and she is now capable of eating on her own.
“Now the dog is feeding on her own, and her swollen face has started to shrink, but she has not fully recovered,” said her rescuer.

She is now as active as ever and feels like a brand-new dog!
Jade finally received the help she needed and is now living a brand-new life after almost losing hope and giving up. All of this is thanks to the good Samaritan who stopped to help the poor dog and made a huge difference in her life. Thanks to him, she now has a future to look forward to.
As for the person or people who inflicted pain on Jade, karma will catch up with them, and they will pay for the suffering they caused. It's just a matter of time; no crime goes unpunished.
Jade's rescue turned a heartbreaking street story into one with a much better ending.
Before Jade, Dayse Ferreira’s clinic took in a black stray dog seeking help alone.
