Rescue Puppy, Matilda, Can’t Hide Her Joy As She Finally Leaves The Shelter
Matilda did not let a rough start dim her shine. The pit bull puppy was found as a stray by the Douglas County Animal Shelter in Georgia when she was just two months old, and even with skin conditions and worm infestations, she kept greeting everyone like a little burst of sunshine.
That same happy energy followed her to Pibbles & More Animal Rescue, which quickly fell for her at the shelter and brought her into foster care with Kerrie Rich. From the moment she got in the car, Matilda wagged her tail nonstop, as if she already knew her life was changing for the better.
Now she is settled in, thriving, and still spreading joy everywhere she goes. Read on.
