Shy Rescue Cat Met Her Perfect Human And Then Gained So Much Confidence She Learnt To Trust
Rescue cats often take a little time to get used to their new surroundings. Some have come from horrible, abusive homes where they were not given the love or respect they deserve, while others were strays who have never had the luxury of knowing a home.
For that reason, rescue cats can often struggle to adjust to their new homes. They don't have the same socialization, calmness, or sense of safety as other cats who have not experienced such adversity.
But when these cats settle in, their personalities begin to shine, and they pick up new skills. This cat, for example, learned to fly!
Meet Anya, a rescue kitty.
Anya's new mom signed up to be a foster parent and assumed she would be sent dogs. Instead, she was sent a shy cat.
When they first met, Anya was super shy and hid from her new mom.
One day, her mom got the impression that Anya was just about to trust her, turned around, and the next moment, Anya landed on her shoulder!
She began to use treats to tempt her.
They became close friends and built an incredible bond!
What a beautiful and funky cat! Can you cat fly? Tell us all about it in the comments.
