Sue Blagburn had three foals named Arthur, William, and Harry. They grew up together and formed close bonds.
When Sue decided to transition her career into equine-assisted learning and therapy, she sadly had to give Arthur up. The lovely horse became a sports horse for private events and competitions while William and Harry traveled around the UK with Sue.
William and Harry were with Sue in Firle, East Sussex, while Arthur was much further away. Nevertheless, all three horses lived great lives.
One day, Sue decided to repurchase Arthur and bring him back to be with her. She figured that William and Harry would be happy to have Arthur back, but she could never have expected the incredible reaction they had when they saw him.
The horses recognized each other right away. They immediately ran towards each other and 'hugged.'
After nudging each other lovingly for a little while, the three friends decided it was time to go for a run. Arthur, William, and Harry ran several laps around the field together with pure joy.

Their owner, Sue, reunited the trio when she decided to repurchase Arthur, who had been gone for four years. Their reaction was beautiful.
They recognized each other immediately, and after hugging, they went for a long run.
"I knew that they would recognize each other," Sue said. "But this is so much deeper than I thought possible, and it's so extraordinary."
Sue couldn't believe how closely bonded the three horses were after so long apart. She was completely blown away by their reactions.
"William is quite bossy," Sue explained. "He wouldn't let any other horse do what Arthur is doing."
