Husky Rejected For Being "Funny Looking" Searching For Her Forever Home
With their stunning eyes and beautiful fluffy fur, it's no surprise that Huskies are one of the most popular dog breeds around. Their popularity, however, sadly doesn't keep them off the streets or out of shelters.

Often these beautiful dogs end up without homes due to their owners being unaware of the responsibility involved in taking care of such a high-energy breed. However, it is also often the case that irresponsible breeding is what puts a dog in such a situation.
Husky House in Matawan, New Jersey is a shelter specializing in taking in abandoned, abused, or neglected Huskies. One of their longest and most loved residents is Jubilee.
Jubilee is just like every other dog in most ways. She's a little shy but loves people. She's friendly, smart and active. So, why is she still waiting for a home?
Well, Jubilee is the perfect example of what can happen when breeders become irresponsible. She was surrendered originally because her breeder was unable to sell her. Why? Because Jubilee doesn't look the same as most Huskies. She is what some have described as, "funny looking."
Jubilee has been patiently waiting for years to find a forever family who will be willing to look past her different appearance.
Many other dogs have come and gone, but Jubilee is still where she began. Her appearance is more than likely the result of irresponsible breeding and is in no way her fault. All she wants is a family of her own.
Husky House is determined to help Jubilee find the perfect home. She has been in foster care for a year, however, her foster dad is unable to continue caring for her due to some health problems. So, once again, Jubilee is back at the shelter.
“She’s a very sweet dog and loves people once she warms up. She’s skittish at first, but if you offer her a treat, she’s your best friend!”
Jubilee is suited to a home with other dogs but isn't such a huge fan of cats. She can be shy, but she loves people once she gets to know them.
If you think you could offer Jubilee a loving forever home, please consider reaching out to Husky House and filling out an application form.
Or even if you are not in a position to adopt, sharing Jubilee's story is a huge help and could potentially reach someone who can help her.
Donations to Husky House are also very much appreciated.
Good luck, Jubilee!
