There is a story from Thailand about a dog named Leo who went viral. His owners accidentally left him near a gas station.
Ever since that day, after four difficult years, Leo has remained in that spot, waiting for his family to return.
This dog has been waiting for his loved ones while hanging out for four years in a particular spot near the road
People tried to help him as he became thin due to starvation. Saowalak, a 45-year-old woman, fed the dog as often as she could and even took him into her home, but he would always escape and return to his usual spot, so she continued to feed him later on.
Leo is still waiting for his family
Anuchit Uncharoen, another concerned citizen, shared Leo's story on social media to alert his owners that the poor dog had been waiting for so long.

The move was fantastic because the dog’s family reached out to the man and said that the photo of the dog resembled their lost dog, Bon-Bon. The family told him they had looked everywhere for him for quite a while when they realized he had gone missing, but they never found him.
Dogs are really man's best buddies
Bon-Bon was excited to see his family again but would not return home with them. Apparently, he had grown fond of the woman who had fed him all this time and wouldn't leave her.
The family understood the dog’s choice, and he was allowed to live with Saowalak. The family promised to visit the dog frequently and cover his expenses.

Leo leaves us cheerful and a bit confused, but interestingly, he is protected and loved by everyone. This goes to show that dogs are amazing animals that everyone should have as pets.
