This Little Kitty Caused an Unbelievable Scale of Destruction in Her Mom's Room All by Herself.
Taylor Nelson was in the middle of a Zoom meeting when she heard strange movement in her apartment, and she immediately knew it was not her sleeping cat. The culprit was her kitten, Faye, who had turned the place into a blur of zoomies, wall kicks, and nonstop chaos while Nelson tried to stay focused.
Then came a crash from the bedroom, and the whole situation suddenly became impossible to ignore. What Nelson found was a mess that involved a humidifier, a rug, and a room full of plants and furniture that had clearly not survived Faye’s energy.
By the time Nelson rushed in, the damage was already done, and the kitten’s guilty behavior only made it funnier. Read on.
"Both my cat and I looked behind us, like, 'Oh, God, what did she do?' and [I] left the meeting," Nelson said.
Nelson was already aware that Faye and her brother liked to throw the terracotta pots from the windowsill, and she had kept some spares in the basement. So, she thought they may have done just that.
But when she stepped into her bedroom, what she saw was not at all what she had expected. It was much more than just the plants.
"She did, in fact, knock over a couple of plants as I assumed, but she also somehow knocked over a 30-inch TV and a humidifier along with the plants," Nelson shared. "It was like a perfect disaster sandwich, with the plants broken on the bottom, the TV face down on top of the plants, and then the humidifier spilled over."

"This was also all on my rug, so the water from the humidifier made a nice muddy mess under the plants and TV," Nelson added.
The teeny-tiny creatures in the house had successfully turned a cozy bedroom into a sight of destruction within seconds. "When I walked into the bedroom and saw the chaos, I wouldn’t have believed it was caused by this little 6-pound kitten if it weren’t for her staring me down from under the bed right beside the mess," Nelson remarked.
Nelson immediately got to clearing up the mess, all the while hoping that the TV was not fully dead. But to her dismay, it was pretty much dead.
She did save some plants and shifted them into new pots. While she was doing all this and assessing the damage, Faye was looking at her so innocently as if she were not aware of what had happened.

"She definitely knew she was guilty but was trying to act like she had no idea what was going on and just found out about the mess when I did because she only showed her face after I started cleaning up and was slinking around sniffing everything with her ears back," Nelson said.
Nelson tried connecting the dots and figured out that instead of her usual way of kicking off the wall, Faye had jumped from the bed and kicked off the TV, which led to all this chaos. For Nelson, it was a lot to process considering the damage it had caused, but she was amazed and laughing at the scale of destruction this tiny kitten had caused.

"I couldn’t even be mad at her because the whole scene was so funny, and honestly, it was my fault I didn’t have everything secured, knowing how she is," Nelson shared.
"My boyfriend and I are actually going to nail the TV down like in a cheap motel, and I’m planning on getting a couple of baby cams so I can finally witness all of her craziness on video because she’s just one of the goofiest, weirdest cats I’ve ever met," she added.
No matter the range of precautions they may take, there is no denying that Faye may find some way of causing destruction. But this time, they will be caught on the baby cam.
