This rescue story is one of many you have read and heard about rescuers taking home the kitties they found. However, this kitten was not found on the streets or in bushes; he was found in a dumpster.
He was just about a week old when the garbage collector found him... he was so young that you could hardly imagine he would survive. At that age, he still needed his mom's milk.
The garbage collector's truck rolled over while he was on his way home, which is an incredibly dangerous traffic incident. An officer came to check the incident, and there he heard a kitten crying as they loaded the truck onto the rollback.
Find out what happened next as you read the story and see how much this kitty named Oscar has grown.
Meet Oscar, the dumpster kitten who has grown into a handsome cat.
The poor kitten was found tucked beneath the seat, so the officer called the garbage collector and asked him what they should do with the kitty. The garbage collector immediately responded that he would come to get the kitten.
That was just the beginning. Oscar has been going back and forth with the garbage collector to work for four or five weeks.
The office ladies would take him, and they loved to play with him, especially during their lunch breaks. He got so spoiled by these ladies, and they would use a straw to play with him.
Now, Oscar has developed a straw fetish. Leave a straw on your desk, and the next thing you'll find is that it's gone.

Now, Oscar is a huge ole boy.
The garbage collector has other cats at home, and Oscar is quite the bully. He imposes on his fur dad and family.
Whenever he feels like sitting on his lap, his dad has no choice, as he will surely force himself onto his dad's lap. When his fur mom brushes the other cats' fur, Oscar rushes in to push the others away so that he gets all the brush strokes.
Oscar isn't scared of water. He loves it and often plays in the bathtub. When he gets into the tub, he reaches for the faucet, smashes it, and as soon as the water drips, he washes his fur all by himself.

From the day he was found in the dumpster, Oscar has transformed into a handsome cat and is well cared for by his fur parents. The accident contributed to his rescue and adoption.
Who would have thought that the one-week-old kitty would survive and grow to be the large bully cat? Thanks to his dad for rescuing him!
