Maternal Pit Bull Warmly Embraces An Orphaned Squirrel, Who Sees Her As Its Mom
A pit bull named Everly didn’t just notice an orphaned squirrel, she adopted it like it was her own. The tiny furball followed her around with this stubborn little determination, and soon the “stray” wasn’t staying stray at all.
But here’s where it gets complicated: Everly’s human, Morgan Joy Groves, and her dog had to escort the squirrel home, and then the little one kept cuddling up on Everly for cozy naps and full-on snuggle sessions. It was sweet, it was heart-melting, and it still meant the newborn needed more than one dog and one person could safely provide.
