Pitbull With Paralyzed Legs Proves That His Unbreakable Spirit Is His Secret Power To Heal
Romeo’s story is the kind that starts with heartbreak and ends with a small miracle. Found completely paralyzed in all four legs, this pitbull had every reason to give up, but he kept pushing forward anyway.
After being taken in by AMA Animal Rescue, Romeo went through weeks of physical therapy and slowly began to recover. Even then, finding a forever home was not easy, since many people who applied backed out once they learned about his past injuries.
Then, just when it seemed like his happy ending might take longer to arrive, everything changed. Read on.
Meet Romeo. He was found completely paralyzed in all four of his legs when the AMA Animal Rescue took him in.
It's not known what caused his paralysis, given that he was found homeless, but it was in the rescue's best interests and priorities to provide Romeo with everything they could to help him.
Fortunately, Romeo also seemed keen to recover, as he showed that his injuries did not break his spirit at all.

That was only the beginning of Romeo's recovery.
After long weeks of undergoing physical therapy, Romeo eventually found his way to recovery and miraculously began walking again! A month after he recovered, he was already up and running.
However, he wasn't completely well yet. The staff noticed that his eyes were often getting teary, and he was diagnosed with entropion, a condition in which his eyelids had turned inward.
Fortunately, Romeo's eyes returned to normal after undergoing successful surgery.

Even with all that progress, finding the right home still took time.

Even though Romeo is a very affectionate dog who loves every human he bonds with, the rescue still had trouble finding him his forever home that would care for him. Many applications did come in for the dog; however, a lot of these interested families backed down when they discovered Romeo's past injuries.

Thankfully, the wait did not last forever.
Thankfully, just months later, Romeo was finally adopted and is now living in his forever home! Take a look at the video below to learn more about his story:
Dogs, whether injured or not, will always be inexplicably sweet, even if they are already suffering from the cruelties of the world. That's just how they are, and they definitely do not deserve any kind of pain that people inflict upon them, especially being abandoned.
