Pitbull Puppy Is Overjoyed When His Rescuer Returns To Adopt Him
Mojo was only a tiny Pitbull x Amstaff puppy when his life nearly slipped away. Found with a severe skin disease and just hours to spare, he was lucky enough to cross paths with Joey Wagner, the man who stepped in and changed everything.
What started as a desperate rescue quickly turned into a fight to save the little dog’s life, and later, a search for the right home. Mojo’s condition made that harder than anyone hoped, but Joey never stopped showing up for him.
Then came the moment Mojo had been waiting for, and his reaction said everything.
Joey tried to take care of Mojo, but as his condition worsened, he had no choice but to rush him to the hospital.
It’s the same kind of instant adoption frenzy as the 4-month-old Ginger kitten rescue that had cat lovers clamor to adopt him.
Joey's loving determination saved the little pup's life, but the severity of Mojo's condition made it very difficult for him to find a new home.
“Mojo’s will to live was enormous,” the man said.
“He filled the hearts of so many people with love, hope, and forgiveness.”
So Joey, who is also the owner of the Baie Ste Marie Animal Society, a non-profit organization in Nova Scotia, decided to open his home to Mojo.
After a couple of weeks, Joey returned to the hospital to collect Mojo and take him home. Mojo's reaction when he saw Joey had come back for him was priceless!
